セーラ・トンプソン Sarah Thompson
ボストン美術館日本版画室長。
ハーバード大学から学士号を、コロンビア大学から博士号を取得。ヴァッサー大学、オーベリン大学、オレゴン大学で日本語とアジアの美術史を教え、また、『Undercurrents in the Floating World: Censorship and Japanese Prints』（1991年、ニューヨーク、アジア・ソサエティー）をはじめとした、数々の日本版画についての展覧会を監修する。2004年より現職。
現在、ボストン美術館所蔵の日本版画全5万点の撮影・図録制作を最終目的とした、日本版画アクセス＆ドキュメンテーション・プロジェ クト（JPADP）の監督をしている。
