1	AI-powered Text Recognition of Inscriptions in Japanese Ukiyo-e Prints
	Japanese early modern ukiyo-e landscape prints are multimodal artefacts that combine textual and visual content. Hence, the understanding of these prints requires an analysis in both modalities. However, majority of printed inscriptions on these images has not been transcribed yet, which hinders the study of prints at large. This project aims to contribute to overcoming this major problem by applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology for the automated transcription and annotation of inscriptions on Japanese early modern ukiyo-e landscape prints facilitating their readability, and subsequent interpretation of these multimodal artefacts. Our mixed-method approach combines Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Named Entity Recognition (NER). First, we will apply existing OCR software (eg., KuroNet, Miwo, KuLA) or develop new OCR models to transcribe image content-related inscriptions on prints (i.e., image titles, and longer texts, such as waka poetry), generally recognized for their linguistic complexity rooted in pre-modern writing systems and specificities of Japanese historical language. Then, the OCR output will be used as the input for NER models (already developed by our team) to recognise place named-entities featured in these images facilitating their subsequent geolocation. We will evaluate our NER models on this different input and based on this evaluation we will calibrate them to generate better results. Our study will focus on a dataset of landscape prints depicting meisho (famous places) accessible through the Ukiyo-e Portal Database hosted by the ARC. This database will provide access to the research material (digitized prints) and its metadata, which will be used to validate the results, and the tools available via ARC Research Space such as Mirador 3 and IIIF Curation Viewer will be used in the research process.

2	Ukiyo-e, illustrated books, albums and painted books in Madrid Collections
	Spanish Museums and Institutions guard various rich and Japanese collections. Within these ones, we find magnificent examples of Japan's material and artistic culture, with a great historical importance. Spanish interest in Japanese culture can be traced from early dates in the Royal House, religious institutions and military museums inventories. In Madrid institutions we can find many ukiyo-e collections but, given the large number without a detailed cataloging, this project will focus on the collection from the Library of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University. This collection originates from Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, whose origins lay in the eighteenth century, being founded by Royal initiative.

3	Audio - Visual Archive of UNESCO's Borobudur Restoration Project (1973-1983)
	This proposed project is part of a broader and long-term initiative of a collaboration between the ARC and the Research Center for Area Studies BRIN to create digital archives and visualization of the Borobudur temple, a World Heritage site. This proposed project seeks to create an audio visual archive to document and analyze testimonies of local workers involved the UNESCO reconstruction project of 1973-1983. By recording and documenting their stories and incoporate them in the database that the ARC has been building, we want to highlight and acknowledge the contribution of local labors in the Borobudur restoration project since most heritage studies focuses only on the role of scientific experts. We plan to collect the narratives to understand everyday life of people working for the restoration. This data collection will be important as it tells how Borobudur is shaped as a cultural heritage and the role of local Indonesians to contribute in the nomination process. We expect that the audio visual archive of the testimonies can enrich the database of Borobudur currently constructed by ARC experts.

4	Re-thinking Japonisme: Digitisation of the V&A's collection of Japanese illustrated books and researching its formation in the late 19th century
	This long-term research project between the ARC and the V&A together with the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures (SISJAC) aims to improve public accessibility of the V&A Museum's collection of illustrated books (ehon). The project's key activities, photographing over 700 books currently without images and enhancing cataloguing records of the entire book collection on the V&A's online collection database 'Explore the Collections', will be carried out with the help of UK-based students. By doing so, it will create hands-on educational opportunities to train the next generation of digitisation specialists. With a particular focus on the illustrated books acquired by the Museum in the 1880s, the ultimate goal of the project is to identify types of Japanese books commercially distributed in Europe in the late nineteenth century and re-evaluate the Japanese art market during the Museum's formative years.

1	A Basic Research for Using Digital Data of Japan National Railways' Documents: Focusing on Daily reports of Moji Railway Bureau of Japan National Railway
	本研究は、2021年秋にJR九州旅客鉄道株式会社より貸出を受けた、日本国有鉄道・門司鉄道局『局報（甲・乙）』（以下、門司鉄文書）デジタルデータの活用に向けた研究である。昨年度は「研究設備・資源活用型」に採択され、デジタル撮影の方法やデータの処理、アーカイブ接続までの一連の工程を学び、研究代表者の大学に撮影室をつくり作業を進めた。本年度は、研究利用および成果公表ならびに将来的な国際発信に向けた土台を整える。具体的には、処理済みデータのアーカイブ化を進めるとともに、国鉄関連の既存のデジタル・アーカイブをリサーチし、本研究のウェブサイトをつくりにリンクを集積することを目標とする。

2	Dissemination of Kyomachiya culture using the collection database of the Nagae Family Residence
	本研究は、京都市指定有形文化財の大規模京町家である長江家住宅を対象とした産学連携による継承プロジェクトの一環である。これまで研究代表者及び分担者らは、長江家住宅の日常の管理や所蔵品のデジタル・アーカイブ、公開イベントの実施、北棟の復原改修などに深く関わってきた。本研究では、故長江治男氏（8代目当主）からアート・リサーチセンターに寄贈され、現在も長江家住宅の土蔵などに収蔵されている1,000点以上の所蔵品及びそのアーカイブデータを活用して、京都に関わる研究や教育、地域貢献活動の推進や京町家に「すまう」実践を行いながら、京都祇園祭の山鉾町（かつての下京）を中心に根付く、京町家文化を様々な方面に向けて広く発信していく。

3	The Role of Manuscripts in the Edo Period: Cataloging Japanese manuscripts in UC Berkeley C.V. Starr East Asian Library on ARC
	従来江戸時代の研究は版本中心に行われて来たが、近年は江戸の写本文化の豊かさが注目されて来ている。この意味で、江戸時代の写本が約 3500 点集まるＵＣバークレー校 C.V.スター東アジア図書館の旧三井文庫を中心とする写本群は、今こそ注目すべき存在である。本プロジェクトは同文庫の調査を 2015 年から計 40 日以上行い、データを蓄積してきた。現在データベースの完成までいま一歩のところまで来ている。完成が近づいてプロジェクトの着地点を考えた時、ARC のデータベースの一部に組み込んでいただくことが最善であると考えた。上記より本研究は、UC バークレー蔵写本古典籍目録のデータベースを完成させ、ARC から公開する。これによって世界に江戸時代の多彩な写本文化の全体像を提供するとともに、今後の画像公開、同館蔵版本データベース作成への足掛かりとする。

4	Construction of ３D Model Database of Japanese Armor in the possession of Tokushima City Tokushima Castle Museum
	本研究課題は、近年注目を集めるStructure from Motion （以下；SfM）の技術を応用し、徳島市立徳島城博物館が所蔵する近世から近代にかけて製作された甲冑を3次元的にデジタルアーカイブすること、そして、その成果を公開することを通じて、博物館資料をより地域に還元するためのフローを構築し、モデルケースとなることを目指す。これまで、甲冑はガラスケース内での展示やカタログ用の写真撮影では、一定方向の視点からのみしか見ることができなかった。しかし、甲冑は数十の部位から構成されており、その各部位一点一点、さらには裏側にも、魅力的な装飾が施されているものも多い。これらの普段見えない部位の魅力を伝えることを模索したところ、SfMを活用したデジタルアーカイブを取り入れたプロジェクトを着想するに至った。これにより、PCの画面やモバイル端末を通して、多様な視点から甲冑を閲覧できる３Dモデルデータを作成して簡易に閲覧できるようにしたい。本研究課題では、徳島市立徳島城博物館が所蔵する「紫糸威大鎧」（徳島県指定有形文化財）をはじめとした甲冑群の3次元計測、モデル化、閲覧システムの構築、そして、一般公開することまでを目標とする。将来的には、これらの蜂須賀家代々の藩主が身に着けたとされる甲冑の実物展示を見ながら、モバイル端末で３Dモデルを見るといった博物館展示の新しい取り組みも始めており、今後の展開が期待されるものと考える。

5	A Study on the Construction of a Search and Browsing System for Theater Photo Materials using a Database of Theater Performance Records (provisional translation)
	演劇上演記録データベースを活用した、演劇資料画像検索データベース構築への応用を目的とした研究である。松竹大谷図書館ではこれまでの研究で、開館以来作成してきた演劇資料整理の基礎となる演劇上演記録を完全にデータベースに移行し、考証を進めてデータの精度を上げてきた。この上演記録とは、主に明治初年から戦前までの東京の記録と、戦後の各地の大劇場、及び東京の小劇場の記録である。今後は、日本演劇の研究と資料整理の基礎となるこの上演記録データベースを基に、より精度を上げ実用に適したデータベースに成長・発展させながら、立命館大学アート・リサーチセンターとの共同研究により、所蔵資料のデジタル画像化を進め、検索閲覧システムを構築し、Web公開を進めることを課題としている。

1	A Study of Letters Written by Matsudaira Sadanobu
	寛政の改革を主導した幕府老中松平定信は１８世紀の政治・外交等を考察する上で非常に重要な人物である。そのため、戦前では渋沢栄一『楽翁公伝』、近年では藤田覚『松平定信』、高澤憲治『松平定信政権と官制改革』など多くの研究が積み重ねられてきている。しかし、定信に関する一次史料は数多く残されており、桑名市博物館所蔵の書簡史料もそのひとつである。そこで本研究ではこれまで検討されてこなかった書簡の翻刻を行うことで、定信研究進展の一助とする。

	天保5年2月時点の信州埴科郡寂蒔村の五人組帳と宗門人別書上帳を解読する事で、当時寂蒔村に出されていたお触れの内容と、庄屋を務めていた宮坂善右衛門家を本家とした宮坂一族の状況を把握する試みです。

3	A Comprehensively Study on Primary Sources in the possession of Itoi Bunko Library in Maizuru City
	本研究では、舞鶴市糸井文庫（京都府舞鶴市文化財）における未整理の資料を対象として、新たに翻刻を施す。そして、本文庫が果たした日本文学・日本文化上の役割を解明するために、これらの資料を改めて整理することを主な目的とする。特に、浦島伝説に関する資料を対象として、これまで実施してきた国際共同研究を発展・深化させる。そして、立命館大学アート・リサーチセンターの「舞鶴市糸井文庫閲覧システム」を通じて、新規に翻刻した資料のＷＥＢ公開を行い、国内外の研究者や一般国民に資するようにする。

4	Infrastructure Development of Digital Research Environment for Modern Woodblock-printed Kuchi-e (Frontispieces)
	本研究は、明治期における木版多色摺口絵に関するイメージデータベースを構築し、そのデジタル研究環境基盤整備に取り組むものである。同資源は当時の出版・読書文化を窺い知ることができるものであるにもかかわらず、その特性ゆえの扱いづらさから、いずれの研究分野からも敬遠されてきた。以上の背景を踏まえ、本研究は、近代木版口絵にかんするイメージデータベースを構築し、その学術的価値の再検討を通じて、同資料を人文学研究の俎上に載せることを目的とする。2023度は、1）国外所蔵作品のデジタル撮影を実施、2）1をもとにポータルデータベースを拡充、3）成果を書籍・論文としてまとめることに注力する。

5	A Research Project on Construction of Comprehensive Digital Archives Focusing on the Third Phase Yakusha Hyobanki
	役者評判記は、歌舞伎の演技や役者の動向、興行の実態などを追うことのできる基本的な演劇資料である。そのために、万治から明和期(1658-1772)の役者評判記を翻字した『歌舞伎評判記集成』の第一期・第二期(岩波書店、1972-1977・1987-1995)がすでに刊行され、安永から享和期(1772-1804)を対象とした第三期（和泉書院、2018-）の刊行も進んでいる。本研究では、第三期の対象となる役者評判記について、ARCのクラウドやデータベースを活用しながら翻字テキストデータの正確性を高めつつ、用字の問題、諸本異同の問題等、役者評判記の諸問題を分析することにより、より有効な役者評判記の活用のあり方を提示し、また、蓄積された正確な翻字本文を索引データベースとして構築し、さらなる広範な利用を実現することを目的とする。

6	A Digital Database Project on the high-altitude Settlements of the Yayoi Period
	弥生時代に出現する「高地性集落」は，今日，学校教科書や様々な歴史の概説書にその名が登場し，列島古代社会の発展過程を考える上でも重要な位置を占めることから，社会的関心が高いものである。本申請課題の目的は，この高地性集落に関して，日本列島各地の資料の集成・デジタル化を進めるとともに，国内・海外を問わず幅広く活用できるデータベース（「全国高地性集落データベース」（仮））を整備・公開することである。申請者らは，2020 年度に「弥生時代高地性集落の列島的再検証」（科学研究費補助金・基盤研究（B），20H01356）と題した総合的研究プロジェクトを開始し，列島各地における高地性集落の実態について考古学的に明らかにすることを目指している。この取り組みの一方で，高地性集落に関してはこれまでに多数の調査成果が挙げられてきており，全国各地の事例や資料を一元的にまとめ，学術的研究および教育機関等での学び等に活用できるよう広く情報公開することが必要であると考えている。そこで上記科研プロジェクトとは目的を明確に区別しつつ，情報共有・連動できる体制を整えることで，関連資料のデジタル化・アーカイブ化を鋭意進めて，多方面で運用できるデータベースの構築を目指す。

7	Three-Dimensional Photogrammetry of Tsukioka Yoshitoshi Artworks for Detecting Symptoms of Mental Health Disorder
	Mental health affects the productivity and creativity of artists. This research is a part of The Application of Deep Learning Methods for Detecting the Symptoms of Mental Health Disorder from Artworks Datasets. This study aims to create a 3D model of Tsukioka Yoshitoshi's work using Photogrammetry techniques. Data will be collect from the collection of the Ritsumeikan University Library, other university libraries, and various museums in Japan. Tsukioka's 3D photogrammetry results will be use as a dataset to detect artists' mental health disorders. Various works of Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, such as The Lonely House on Adachi Moor, One Hundred Aspects of The Moon, New Forms of Thirty-Six Ghosts, etc. The 3D Photogrammetry Tsukioka digital archive will serve as a development of a 3D artwork database produced during Tsukioka Yoshitoshi's mental health disorders. The 3D Photogrammetry Database will be helpful as a learning medium for Japanese Art and Art Psychology in Indonesia.

8	Pioneer of the Kyoto Film Industry―Focusing on Katsutaro Inabata and Einosuke Yokota
	本研究は2019年から現在まで「京都の活動写真製作及び興行における横田商会の意義」と題し、日活の創立に尽力した横田永之助と日活の前身横田商会関連の資料発掘およびアーカイブ活動、データベース構築を当該特別研究員として活動してきた。昨年映画を発明したリュミエール兄弟から日本にシネマトグラフ事業を委託された稲畑勝太郎関連のフィルムや写真や映画機材が段ボール4箱分見つかり、資料を管理する稲畑産業から研究目的のため寄贈された。以上の経緯により「京都映画産業のパイオニア」としてこれまでの横田研究と紐付け、新たにこれらの大量の資料のアーカイブおよびデータベース構築を目指す。

9	Research of Kyoto-based Global Development of Printing Techniques and Designs
	本研究課題では、近代京都を起点として染色産業がどのように国内外へ展開されてきたのか、あるいは影響を受けてきたのかを染色技術やデザインを通じて明らかにする。そのために、学術資料として俎上に上がっていない近代染織史に関連する資料の整理・蓄積を進め、伝統的地場産業と位置付けられてきた京都の染織が実はグローバルな展開―近代以降の西洋技術・デザインの導入だけではなく、戦前から始まるアジア・アフリカへの製品輸出・海外事業展開も含む―をしてきたことを明らかにする。また、研究対象となる染色資料を整理してデータベース構築を進め、近代染織史研究者が研究利用し易いデータベースのあり方について工夫・検討する。更に、当該データベースを活用して染織資料の情報を一元化することを目指す。染色産業の国内外への展開については、特にアフリカンプリント、バティック、ヨーロッパでの機械捺染等の基礎調査とデジタル化を進める。

10	History of the Reception of Objects through Iconography in Early Modern and Modern Kyoto―Focusing on books and dyed textiles
	本研究では、近世から近代の京都における図像を介した書物・染織品を中心としたモノの受容史を明らかにする。特に浮世絵師・西川祐信（1671-1750）の絵本と江戸時代に制作された小袖を対象とする。例をあげれば、祐信の絵本は、明治に入ってもなお出版され続けた。祐信は同時代においても多大な評価を受けたが、その評価や影響を体系化した上で、近代の再評価の様相と対比させる。近代の時代考証家江馬務や吉川観方がいかにこれらの絵本類や古画、染織品を活用して実践的な故実研究を進めたのかという問題を主軸として、近世のモノ資料が近世と近代のどのように繋いだのかという問題を出版・風俗・染織などの複合的な文化事象を視野に入れて検討していく。

11	Digital Archiving and Promotion of "Tsuchitaro / Mototugu Hayashi's Movie Sounds Collection"
	日本映画における数々の名作を担当した録音技師である林土太郎氏（正確には土に点）、長男の林基継氏が制作時に残した映画・映像の音源（約2000点）の整理およびデジタル・アーカイブの構築作業を行う。映像に関わる音源資料は、日本においてアーカイブ事例が少なくいまだ端緒的な状況であることから、本活動はその嚆矢となる。また、それらの資料に学術的な知見を付与した組織化を進めることで、新しい付加価値を有するNFTアートとして発信することを念頭に置き、国内外に大量に埋没していると想定されるこの分野の文化資源の新たな利活用について検討することを本研究プロジェクトの目的とする。

12	A cursive script reprinting class for first-year students in at National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Maizuru College
	舞鶴工業高等専門学校1年生4クラスの古典の授業において、AIでくずし字を読む授業を展開する。くずし字に親しんだことのない高専生にとって、AI技術の力を借りることで、くずし字を読むことができる体験を行い、過去のものをいかに次世代へ継承していくか、科学技術と古典が融合し合えること、融合することでどのような新たな世界を切り拓くことができるかを考えるきっかけとする。加えて、地元舞鶴市が管理する舞鶴市指定文化財糸井文庫を紹介し、舞鶴、ひいては丹後地方がいかに豊かな伝説を内包し、現代に受容し続けて遺しているかを知る機会とする。なお、この授業実践は、2020年から行っており、それを継続させるものである。

13	Management for the Japan Art Documentation Society Utilizing Cloud Storage
	1989年4月に開設されたアート・ドキュメンテーション学会は、ひろく芸術一般に関する資料を記録・管理・情報化する方法論の研究と、その実践的運用の追究に携わっている。本学会には、図書館司書、学芸員、アーキヴィスト、情報科学研究者、美術史・文学史・音楽史・メディア史・文化史・自然史研究者など、約300名の正会員、学生会員、賛助会員が所属している。従来の美術館／博物館・図書館・公文書館・アーカイヴおよび学会といった機関や職能を超領域的に融合する新しい学術団体として、本学会は、新しい未知な課題に取り組む方々の参加をえて、活動を展開している。国際的視野にもとづいて現代社会の要請する人文学と情報学との連動を追究し、今日的要請に即したデータベースの構築、アーカイヴ・デザイン、また個別的な応用課題の解決に取り組み、着実な成果をあげる。

14	Okinawan Arts & Culture under Occupation: A Study of Gima Hiroshi and Yamazato Eikichi
	A research project examining illustrator & prints artist Gima Hiroshi, and playwright, cultural critic, and cultural official Yamazato Eikichi, as examples of Okinawan cultural figures advocating for Okinawan decolonization or independence during the Cold War / Occupation period. Dr. Tomizawa-Kay will focus on collaborations between Gima and independence activist Arakawa Akira, while Dr. Seifman will focus on Yamazato's writings and activities as a cultural official and museum director under the Occupation-era Ryukyu Government, and on links between ideas about Ryukyuan cultural heritage and pro-independence political positions.

15	Compilation of a database of documents nationally designated as cultural properties in the possession of Eigen-ji and related temples
	栗東歴史民俗博物館寄託の『永源寺文書』は、平成十四年に国の文化財指定を受けました。その際、永源寺四塔頭の什物を含む九千点余りの古文書、墨跡類の詳細な調査が行われました。開山寂室禅師の墨跡や中世文書を含むこれらの文書群は、永源寺をとりまく朝廷、幕府、地方の有力守護大名などの動向を知る格好の史料であり、中世から近代までの地方禅宗寺院の経営のあり方を解明するための貴重な記録といえます。特に資料の大部分を占める近世史料は、仏教史のみならず特定の地域の歴史文化を繙く公文書（知的財産）として積極的な活用が期待されます。

16	Construction of a Digital Archive of Social, Spatial, and Disaster History of the Kii Peninsula, Japan
	本研究は、紀伊半島の海付(漁業)集落を対象に、巨大災害や漸進的な縮退など、今後同地に予測される様々な危機への備えとして、近世以降の災害・復興歴等を含む集落の社会・空間・生活文化に関する史的データベース及びデジタルアーカイブの構築とその公開を目指すものである。集落内の道・街区・地割・土地利用とその変遷、近世以降現在までの生業、民家の特徴、祭礼など伝統的生活文化の継承状況、加えて宝永・安政・昭和の東南海地震や巨大台風など、過去の被災歴とそこからの復興等に関する記録を集約する。研究成果は、空き家・空き地・高齢化や防災・減災などに関する今後の地域施策や漁業施策を念頭に各自治体とも連携しながら公表し、最終的には列島全域に共通する海付集落の持続と将来的展望に向けて社会化されうる歴史的基盤情報の提供を目的とする。

17	Development of a database on traditional river management information in the Echi River, Shiga Prefecture, Japan
	日本では、豪雨による洪水や土砂災害が頻発し、気候変動による災害の激甚化が懸念されている。地域住民は日常生活を営むにあたり、霞堤や水害防備林、遊水地などのEco-DRR（生態系ベースの災害リスク低減）施設を作成してきた。しかし、都市化や植生の被覆によりこれらの施設の機能が低下し、その存在や位置情報が忘却の彼方にある。そこで、本研究では愛知川流域を対象とし、Eco-DRR施設をはじめとする伝統的河川管理情報のデータベースを構築することを目的とする。具体的には、ドローンを用いたEco-DRR施設の3次元計測成果や、地域住民の水害に対する伝統知などの人文情報をアーカイブする。

18	Stickiness and path dependence of land use patterns
	伝統的に都市経済学においては、土地利用を分析する際に、長期的に安定した状態に注目してきた。土地利用が変化している状態は、一時的なもので、いずれ長期的に安定した状態へと収斂すると考えてきたのである。しかし、実際に土地利用が変化するには時間が必要であり、移行過程がどの程度の時間を必要とするか、更に、その変化の過程が一意ではない、つまり、経路依存性をもつか、はこうした伝統的な分析の有効性を大きく左右する。そこで、本研究では、過去の土地利用がどの程度の期間土地利用を左右するか、また、経路依存性を持つか、を分析する。その際、具体的には、京都の地籍図GISデータを活用し、大正期の京都の土地利用と現在の土地利用の様子を比較する。

19	Kyoto News" Preservation and Utilization Project
	「京都ニュース」とは、1956年から1994年までの約40年間、京都市広報局が制作し、市中の映画館で上映された市政ニュース映像である。高度成長期からバブル崩壊期までの、京都における市政活動や施策、都市計画による景観の変容、折々の世相や出来事、市民生活、祭事など全容を把握することができるこれらの映像は、「京都学」の見地のみならず、各分野からの学術的なアプローチや研究素材としての価値が大きい。これまでの研究において、京都市歴史資料館に保管されていた547巻の35ｍｍ画ネガ・音ネガ原版の調査と、ARCに寄贈された16㎜フィルムのデジタル化を行った。また、それらデジタル化した映像の一部をデータベース化するとともに、ヴァーチャルインシュティトュートによって公開する準備を整えている。今年度は、これまでにデジタル化（ナレーションのテキストやGISによる場所の特定などを含む）したすべてのデータをデータベース化し公開するとともに、デジタル・アーカイブの運用における課題等について整理する。

20	A Study on Kyoto-Haikai through the 18th and 19th Centuries Concerning Hanakuyo
	京都東山の芭蕉堂で毎年のごとく発刊された『花供養』を全冊にわたって翻刻し、近世後期の京都および全国の俳諧の実態を明らかにする。同資料は、近世後期のおよそ100年間、作者はおよそ全国に及ぶため、近世後期の日本、特に京都の俳諧史資料として有効である。このため、これによって江戸時代の俳諧と近代俳句との連続性あるいは非連続性の検証をおこなうことを目的とする。翻刻データは、すでに公開されている原本デジタル画像と同時に参照できるようにし、研究者間の共有を図る。2017年度より、対象を『花供養』以外の芭蕉顕彰資料に広げており、当年度も引き続き調査を実施するほか、必要に応じてデジタル化を実施する。

	ピッツバーグ大学図書館貴重書室は、能絵で有名な月岡耕漁の版画集「能楽図絵」「能楽百番」「能画大鑑」「狂言五十番」を所蔵しており、合わせて632枚の能絵をデジタル化し、オンライン展示「Ko?gyo: The Art of Noh」で公開しています。新たに山口蓼州の版画「能具大観」102枚をオンライン展示に加えるにあたり、草書体で書かれた各版画の説明文102枚を翻刻、英訳して広く世界の利用者に提供していきます。

24	Study on advertising materials that early advertisement trade journal " Press Art " distributed
	本研究は昭和12(1937)年に広告現物の頒布を目的に京都で創刊された広告業界誌『プレスアルト』の調査とデータベース化によって、広告表現を時代意識の有力な証言者と位置付けた探究に資することを目指すものである。同誌は戦時5年の停止期をはさみ昭和61(1986)年まで、およそ45年間月刊で発刊された。発行部数が極めて少なく幻の存在だったが、334号分、およそ6千点に及ぶ広告現物のほぼ全てが発行人遺族宅にて発見された。同時期の広告現物資料としては比肩する類例がないこれらを、本研究で調査しデジタルデータベース化する。付属冊子に記載の発行年、印刷種別、制作経緯等とあわせみる事が可能な形式を構築し、社会学・デザイン史・写真史・メディア史といった多方向からの学際的なアプローチが可能な広告史探究資料となることを目指す。

25	Research on Gidayubushi Joruris works during the heyday for the expansion and developmental utilization of digital archives
	現在古典芸能として上演される人形浄瑠璃作品のほとんどは近世中期の最盛期の義太夫浄瑠璃作品である。しかし今日まで基礎資料が整わず、研究は後手に回ってきた。本研究ではその時期の未翻刻義太夫節浄瑠璃作品の翻刻を行い、広く資料として公開することを目指す。同時に翻刻したテキストデータをデジタル・アーカイブ化し、文学・言語・音曲等、多角的視点から研究できる環境作りに貢献する。

26	A Research on the Construction Method of a Web-based Encyclopedia of Theatre
	演劇に関する総合的な事典としては、平凡社版『演劇百科大事典』があるが、すでに刊行されてから六〇年が経っている。その間の新しい研究成果、演劇活動の歴史を組み込んだ新たな演劇大事典を編集する必要がある。本研究では、編集事業そのものを、オンライン上で行い、『WEB版演劇は薬科大事典』を成立されるための、シミュレーションを行い、実質的な基盤を整えることを目的とする。

27	Re-Examining the Publishing System from 17th through 19th Century Utilizing Murakami Family Historical Documents
	本研究課題は、近世出版研究、近代初期出版研究に携わる立場から、京都の板元・村上勘兵衛家が残した17世紀から19世紀におよぶ出版記録文書（村上家文書、個人所蔵）を対象に、デジタル化と公開、翻刻・読解・分析・考察を進める。それにより、近世および近代初期双方の実態を明らかにするとともに、板元による出版記録という残存量の限られている資料を共有し、学界の研究基盤を拡充する。村上家文書を近世から近代初期にわたる通時的な出版資料として位置づけ、近世出版・近代初期出版双方の実態をあぶり出すのみならず、その過渡期や変容に着目した研究を行う。本研究は科研費（22K00354）を原資とし、ARC-iJACの研究環境を活用して上記内容を進める。

28	Expansion of the Woodblock Digital Archive using the ARC Research Space and construction of a comprehensive research infrastructure for Japanese early modern publishing
	日本の近世は、文学・思想・宗教・絵画・学問など、あらゆる分野のコンテンツが出版の俎上に乗った時代であり、それらを研究するにあたり、近世出版研究の視点は不可欠である。その研究においては、板本が重視されてきた一方、本を印刷する道具であり、また版権の所在を明示する根本装置であった板木が十分に顧みられることはなかった。本研究は、板木資料の研究利用を促進することを目的に、現存する板木を調査し、板木デジタルアーカイブを拡充する。また、板木とそれに対応する板本・出版記録を総合的に検討し、近世出版における板木の役割を考察することにより、近世出版機構の実態解明に取り組む。これら諸資料のデジタルアーカイブ活動により、近世出版デジタル研究環境の構築を目指す。
