We are pleased to announce that the base map for the Modern Kyoto, Heian-kyo and Yamashiro Overlay Maps, published by the Art Research Center, Ritsumeikan University, has been updated to use Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) standard map tiles.
The Modern Kyoto Overlay Map now also supports GSI photography tiles and OpenStreetMap as base maps.
We have also improved the map transparency feature.
