The "Topography x Creative Research Project" research team, of which Associate Professor Yamauchi Hiroyuki (Kinugasa Research Organization, Ritsumeikan University) is a member, has received the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award from the Geographic Information System Association (GISA). This award is granted to researchers or educational institutions that have made extraordinary presentations, as part of the Association's GIS Educational Practice Award - recognizing excellent examples of GIS-based lessons in primary and secondary education.
