We are pleased to announce that the Center will sponsor the second Asia-Pacific DH centerNet Meeting to promote research networking among the region.

2nd Asia-Pacific DH centerNet Meeting

We are pleased to announce that the Digital Humanities Center for Japanese Arts and Cultures at Ritsumeikan University will sponsor the second Asia-Pacific DH centerNet Meeting to promote research networking among the region.

1. Goal

The goal of this meeting will be to present and discuss the following issues for promoting the collaboration among DH centers/institutions in Asia-Pacific.

* Current status of DH research and DH network in each country/region

* DH research activities in each center/institution

* Databases, (digital) archives, tools that we can share globally, or specifically in Asia-Pacific

 * Educational resources (DH-related courses) that each center/institution is offering

* Conferences, Workshops, and Meetings, that each center/institution is able to host in the near future

* Funds for international collaborative research and education

In addition, we have been requested from centerNet, an international Network of Digital Humanities Centers, to discuss the following matters toward the centerNet summit in London.

* (First stage) committee members of Asia-Pacific centerNet

* Representatives from Asia-Pacific DH community to centerNet summit in London
