Exhibition: Hana kuyō and 'Bashō in Kyoto'
As part of Akama Lab’s “Systematic Research of Haikai Materials” project, a Hana kuyō website and an exhibition commemorating the web launch of the Sakurai Collection has been created.

※However, the exhibition will be open on November 20 (Sat.) due to the symposium below.

■Panelists: Chiyoko Takeuchi (Associate Professor at St. Thomas University), Setsuko Matsumoto (former Professor at University of Fukui) ,Yūko Kishimoto (Ritsumeikan University Ph.D. student), Tooru Kobayashi (Professor at Osaka Jonan Women’s Junior College). Moderator: Ryō Akama (Professor at Ritsumeikan University, College of Letters)
Bashōdō in Higashiyama, Kyoto (south side of Maruyama Ongakudō) will be open to the public for a limited time.
