Survey of Japanese ceramics at Pillnitz Castle & Moritzburg Castle

I conducted a survey of Japanese ceramics at Pillnitz Castle and Moritzburg Castle, which are located in the vicinity of Dresden, Germany.

Pillnitz Castle:

I was able to confirm that Pillnitz Castle holds a varied collection of craft goods, ranging from early Edo-period lacquerware exports to Meiji-period ceramics, metalwork, and bamboo art.

Moritzburg Castle:

Moritzburg Castle, meanwhile, housed a collection of very high-quality Imari ware.
