- Objectives and Plans that You Applied: 申請者は、2010年度から2011年度にかけて開催した祐信研究会の成果報告として2012年3月に論文集を刊行する。その論文集に掲載するビンチク・モニカ氏（本学PD）の英語論文の翻訳料、及び論文集の発送料として助成金を使用する。
祐信研究会は、2010年から２年間にわたり日文研との共同研究として開催してきたものである。本研究会では、本拠点のPDビンチク・モニカ氏や客員研究員の加茂瑞穂氏も発表を行った。論文集は、その研究の成果であり、これによって本拠点で行っている研究を広く一般に発信する。

- Objectives and Plans that You Applied: ①UCB東アジア研究図書館所蔵の古地図資料目録の確認・追加調査： 1980年の目録作業を完成させるために、必要な情報を整理する。まずは、情報の更新や所蔵資料の確認が必要である。
②バーチャル京都との連携： UCBが所蔵する古地図コレクションは、すでにデジタル化され、インターネットやGoogle Earthなどで閲覧が可能になっているものの、それらは全資料の一部に過ぎない。未公開資料の確認と、それらをバーチャル京都やGIS分析において、活用する方向について検討する。
③David Rumsey氏やCartography Associatesとのネットワーク構築： UCBと関係が深い古地図収集家として世界的に著名なDavid Rumsey氏との相談・打ち合わせを行う予定にしている。
