Objectives and Plans that You Applied: 申請者はこれまでITPや大航海プログラムにより大英博物館の版本調査に加わってきた。これまでの調査においても近世期版本のデジタルアーカイブを進めており、中には小袖雛形本も含まれていた。小袖雛形本は近世期に小袖のサンプルブックとして京都を中心に出版され、雛形本を参考に小袖が制作された。小袖雛形本は多くの意匠とその名称が掲載され、意匠研究はもちろんのこと、西川祐信など著名な絵師も関わっており、江戸時代を通じた出版文化の研究に欠かすことのできない資料である。しかし、これまでの調査では大英博物館所蔵の小袖雛形本は未調査・未撮影の作品もあり、今回の渡航調査を通じて全ての小袖雛形本調査と撮影を進める。また、大英図書館にも小袖雛形本が収蔵されていることがわかったため、調査を行う予定である。

Objectives and Plans that You Applied: 今回の派遣の目的は、2013年10月に開催される大英博物館での春画展に向けた準備である。本展覧会は春画プロジェクトの研究活動を基にその成果を広く一般に発信するものである。春画プロジェクトとは、2009年度からスタートした大英博物館、ロンドン大学、立命館大学、国際日本文化研究センターの共同プロジェクトであり、申請者はその主要メンバーとして2011年度の研究拠点を大英博物館に置き、プロジェクトの活動を進めてきた。本派遣では、10月2日より開催される展覧会に向け、大英博物館で準備を進めるとともに、会期中に行われるシンポジウム（日時未定）でこれまでの研究発表を行う。 (1)　9月17日から10月1日　展覧会開催準備 (2)　日時未定　シンポジウムでの研究発表

Objectives and Plans that You Applied: ①UCB東アジア研究図書館所蔵の古地図資料目録の確認・追加調査：　1980年の目録作業を完成させるために、必要な情報を整理する。まずは、情報の更新や所蔵資料の確認が必要である。 ②バーチャル京都との連携：　UCBが所蔵する古地図コレクションは、すでにデジタル化され、インターネットやGoogle Earthなどで閲覧が可能になっているものの、それらは全資料の一部に過ぎない。未公開資料の確認と、それらをバーチャル京都やGIS分析において、活用する方向について検討する。 ③David Rumsey氏やCartography Associatesとのネットワーク構築：　　UCBと関係が深い古地図収集家として世界的に著名なDavid Rumsey氏との相談・打ち合わせを行う予定にしている。
