Report by the Kamigata Arts Research Group

The Kamigata Arts Research Group has published a report entitled Gondō Yoshikazu kamigata geinō o kataru – nōgaku, bunraku, kabuki, soshite Takechi Tetsuji (Gondō Yoshikazu on the Kamigata Arts – Noh Drama, Bunraku, Kabuki, and Takechi Tetsuji). This booklet brings together observations on the postwar Kamigata art style made by Mr. Gondō in eleven talks from 2007.

Presentation at the English Ceramic Circle

I presented a paper at the English Ceramic Circle.

 

Place: Kensington Library, Lecture Theatre
Presentation Title: “What happened after Hamada left? The role of Matsubayashi Tsurunosuke in the early stage of the Leach Pottery

 

It was apparently the first time a Japanese person had presented at the English Ceramic Circle, which was founded nearly eighty years ago. Information on my presentation will be printed in the Circle’s bulletin.
