江戸城の鳥瞰図で1683年のPlais dIedo (Edo Castle)を基に制作されたと思われる。こちらには、ヨーロッパ式の幾何学的なフォーマル・ガーデンがはっきりと描かれている。７図の左下は城の御堀と思われるが、この図ではその部分が中央下に移され、巨大な岩盤が層を成しているような得体の知れない物に変化している。

This depiction of Edo Castle, taken from a page of The Illustrated London News, used Montanus' original much older version as a source to create this scene and clearly shows imagined geometrically designed European-style formal gardens in the castle grounds.
