Action movies have been around for some time plus they aren't going anywhere. In reality, they're improving constantly! More serious, more realistic plus they are drawing more people to the theater and rental boxes than previously. Why the appeal to these types of movies? Unrealistic Realness

The fights are choreographed to perfection, the sound clips are booming, the visual effects are stimulating and it's all so real - only, it is not real. In fact, some of the events that take place and stunts performed for action movies are near impossible. However, they look real and that makes them fun to watch. In the past, action movies were less realistic despite the fact that no-one took much notice towards the lack of simple effects that may have improved the flicks, today you can watch those films and at least obtain a good laugh in an actor "flying" across a space being pulled along by obvious strings. That's a lot more real than we want to see our action movies to obtain. Today they could present the unrealistic, however it is done in an entirely realistic way.

Vigorous Violence

Plus, those fights don't pack close to as much punch as the ones seen about the silver screen while watching action movies. When is the last time you saw a guy use Bruce Lee style moves? Or take on several guys with little effort? Surely, it wasn't within your hometown. Though we do not embrace violence nowadays, we like getting our fix than it on the silver screen.

Whether we're watching monumental buildings crumble or witnessing a brutal beating, we value special effects. The options are endless when modern computer graphics will be in use. Cars explode, heads smash through windows, areas of the body are broken - and it's really all seen and heard in a way that causes us to be cringe! Near magical make-up artistry, impressive stunt work and green screen technology usage make up a large amount of the bulging budgets of action movies.

Bigger and Than True to life

Who hasn't gotten drunk in Vegas? Certainly not you. Who hasn't removed a room packed with a major drug kingpin's finest crooks while screaming "Say hello to my little friend!"? That'd be most of us. Action movies let us avoid the norm, no less than for 90 minutes. With all the actual life issues faced today, you can observe why that escape will be appealing.
