New PS3 games - Thank you for visiting the field of (New Star) Grand Prix. You are a famous racing driver that is set being this seasons' winner. Um, assuming you really win the races, maintain your boss, friends and pit crew happy and don't loose your entire money gambling.
New Star GP offers an extra dimension to the usual "here will be the tracks, now Race for me personally." attitude on most racing games. For each track you have a week to practice, on Saturday it's qualifying serious amounts of after that time Sunday oahu is the actual race. So exactly what is the actual driving section of the game like? Well...
You're gonna take some skill.
New xbox 360 games - The overall game play is kind of just like a much more serious version of Micro-machines, creating a top down view when you control the car using the arrow keys. The point that really involved unexpectedly is how you actually need to learn the tracks. Getting the method of certain corners is very important of course, if you get it wrong you must decelerate, or break, or worse, crash. There are particular actions you can take to aid. You can choose between having a boost that will allow one to increase faster, nevertheless it makes your vehicle heavier. Strict control of your fuel level helps; less fuel means you're lighter so you'll go faster, but not at as long. And if the weather gets bad, switch to the correct tyres as soon as possible.
So practice is essential to get every one of these things right.
In addition to the making you have the choice to take your friends or the pit crew towards the casino to make sure they're extra happy. It's not necessary to play any of the games at the casino however, if you feel extra lucky you could be capable of earn a bit spending cash from it.
Among my favourite points about the game is that you could buy cars with all the money you get and drive these around around the current track. It's not necessary to try this and it takes up one of your practice days, but it's good fun.
New PC games - My major complaint about the game would be the insufficient multiplayer, apart from the fact it is possible to compete via track times on-line there is no actual racing against others. The only other niggle personally may be the track editor, that i found fairly troublesome to use. Since there were no crossover tracks (or bridges) available I couldn't recreate the top-gear test track either. I cried.
