【自己紹介文 Short bio】
前職は書籍および雑誌の編集・ライター。日本の郷土玩具のリサーチ時に浮世絵や木版画に興味を持ち、2017年のMI-LAB（木版画イノーベーションラボ／越前市）のインストラクター養成プログラム参加を機に、木版画ワークショップスタッフ、アーティストとして活動を始めました。江戸の紙製玩具ずぼんぼを使ったワークショップやアートプロジェクト参加、2023年に（株）サンコーによるデジタル版木ワークショップ事業を引き継ぎ、現在は墨田区で冨嶽三十六景神奈川沖浪裏の木版画体験も行っています。

Formerly an editor and writer for books and magazines, I became interested in ukiyo-e and woodblock printing while researching Japanese folk toys. My practice as a woodblock print artist began after participating in the Instructor Training Program at MI-LAB (Mokuhanga Innovation Laboratory, Echizen City) in 2017. Since then, I have worked as both a workshop staff member and an artist, organizing workshops and art projects that feature Zubonbo, Edo-period paper toys.

In 2023, I took over the digital woodblock workshop business from Sanko Co., Ltd., and I currently offer hands-on printing sessions in Sumida Ward, including reproductions of Hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawa from Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji.

【参加にあたっての抱負 Aims for taking part 】
複数の産地を1度に巡れる貴重な機会なので、工房見学、地域文化、気候風土など、現地に行かないと分からない、あらゆる未知を楽しみたい。
また、木版画の制作と並行して縮緬・鹿子絞りの和紙加工技術を学ぶ計画があり、その足掛かりを得られたらと思っています。

This workshop offers a rare opportunity to visit multiple papermaking regions within a single trip. I hope to fully experience what can only be understood on-site; the studios, local cultures, and natural environments. In parallel with my printmaking practice, I am also planning to study chirimen (crepe) and kanoko shibori paper texturing techniques, and I hope this experience will serve as a meaningful first step toward that goal.
