【自己紹介文 Short bio】
広島を拠点に創作活動を行っている。プレス機を必要としない水性木版技法の可搬性と、和紙・版木・彫り・摺りによって生まれる繊細な変化に着目し、各地の風土や状況に応じて柔軟に表現を展開している。水にまつわる文化的背景や歴史に関心をもち、各地での観察と記録を重ね、象徴的な形や色彩を紡ぎ出している。風景や環境の脆さ、視覚と記憶の不確かさを主題とし、作品は単一の形式に収束することなく、時間と空間の断片として折り重ねながら制作している。

Based in Hiroshima, I focus on creative practices that emphasize the portability of water-based woodblock techniques, which do not require a press, and the subtle variations produced through washi, woodblocks, carving, and printing. I adapt my expression to reflect the local environment and conditions. With a particular interest in the cultural and historical contexts of water, I observe and document various sites, weaving symbolic forms and colors into my work. My practice addresses the fragility of landscapes and environments, as well as the uncertainties of perception and memory, creating layered works that unfold as fragments of time and space rather than converging into a single form.

【参加にあたっての抱負 Aims for taking part】
私はこれまで、和紙という素材を、単なる支持体ではなく、表現の構造そのものに関わる重要な要素として捉えてきました。地域ごとに異なる手漉き和紙の特性に直接触れることで、素材の持つ力や背景を身体的に理解し、自身の表現に新たな視点を加えたいと考えています。また、今回の学びを、今後の作品制作や国内外への発信にも活かしていけるよう、取り組んでいきたいと思います。

I have long regarded washi not merely as a support material but as a critical element of the structure of expression itself. By engaging directly with the distinctive qualities of handmade washi from different regions, I aim to gain a physical understanding of the material's potential and context, adding new perspectives to my work. I also hope to apply the insights gained from this experience to future creative projects and to share them both domestically and internationally.
