1. Futamata Nozomi, “The script of <Takenoma> <Goten> <Yukashita>'”

Up until now, the scripts of “Takenoma,” “Goten,” and “Yukashita” from Meiboku sendai hagi were thought by many to be strongly influenced by joruri. However, there has never been prior research that proves this claim with any clear justification. In this presentation, through analysis of painted materials such as billings and comparison of scripts, I will consider the scripts of “Takenoma,” “Goten,” and “Yukashita” from their first performances, and make clear the kinds of changes these scripts underwent in order to arrive at their present-day versions.
