IRCd shells - ISpeeds' IRCd packages are designed with you in mind. Unlike most hosts who limit their IRCd's to 20 gigabytes of bandwidth per month, we only let our clients set a 'soft' user cap on their ircd's for two reasons: 1) The fact is that, on average, a 300 user ircd will use approximately 20-40 gigabytes of bandwidth per month! and 2) thats only if your IRCd does not get any DDoS attacks. Adistributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is one in which a multitude of compromised systems attack a single target, thereby causing denial of service for users of the targeted system. By setting a user limit, you don't have to worry about extra charges due to going over your monthly bandwidth limit! All of our IRCd accounts are upgradable/downgradable with no hassle meaning you can switch from one account to another at any point at no cost.
If you are seeking a highly stable IRCd, these are the accounts you are looking for. Our average server uptimes are over 100 days with the higest being close to 600 days at this time. Server loads are kept low for optimal performance as we do not oversell or overload our servers.
