The 21st century has taken on a totally new set of challenges for a lot of people, bringing the infamous how you can change your life topic to new and unexpected heights. To steal a line from one of my faves, Lewis Black; "Even a good fiction writer couldn't have come track of this." Now you ask , now: So, do I have to reinvent myself after all this time? The answer, yes...with no. With the employment market bordering on chaos, and also the collapse of both the industrial age in addition to a good area of the information age, the reinvention of potentially our entire persona does become a consideration for many. At first glance, that statement can look completely overwhelming. But here's the trick. The process of how you can improve your life probably will involve some sort of change or reinvention of yourself, although not from the perspective of the total revamp. Consider the following: A) Cut some seriously undisturbed time on your own. Everything off... no multi-tasking. B) Grab a pen and paper and list, or storyboard for a moment, every one of your strengths... think carefully about this, I am talking about every one! C) Now, take a look at those old strengths and search for connections or ideas you most likely haven't thought of within the spirit of creating a new direction on your own with those abilities that you simply already own. So what's happening here? We're reinventing or reshaping who we are through this process, but actually, we're not. This potential reshape consists of reconfiguring aspects of who we already are, not some fictitious character we're trying to create which has absolutely nothing to use us. Personal testament turns into a must to clarify this time. [http://melanieperez828.bravejournal.com/entry/109445 relationship counseling] I'm a musician of 4 decades, in addition to a composer for 30 of these years. Long story short, my chosen musical idiom these days does not provide the rewards of a comfortable life without some serious, and that i mean serious sacrifice. That sacrifice was OK in terms of myself. But after becoming a single Dad, my reality, my focus began to alter. The very first time ever I had been considering a potential life change. Let's see, a day job... not really a chance in hell. So what can I do? I followed those 3 steps. What I started to see that I totally owned when I storyboarded my strengths was my creative talent as well as my strength as a speaker per se after 3 decades of teaching. I checked out that relationship inside a bit of a new way and realized I possibly could redirect both of those talents. Then i proceeded to quote unquote reinvent myself and became a creative consultant to the people, and eventually groups. Are we clear? Used to do reinvent myself, and not. I already owned those talents. How you can change your life can be seen in different light, you just have to place the amount of time in and discover it, and then get CREATIVE with those discoveries. Realize those inherent gifts you already own making them meet your needs in alternative life settings... or, a new career. I can not start to let you know what percentage of those we've labeled geniuses have used that creative storyboard scenario to complete their goals. Reinvent... and not!
