We have recently witnessed world-wide attention given to the use of oral delivery in Japanese theatre forms and to a growing consciousness of the need and the possibility of developing a new dramatic language. With previous performances and the leading role of the performer Goto Kayo featured in this event, we here present the first step in a new series of events that are to focus on oral delivery in stage performance.
