How to get published by playing games?

【要 旨】
Online gaming has become one of the killer Internet applications.  At the same time, academia researchers in networking, artificial intelligence, multimedia, and psychology have identified many interesting and potential topics in gaming.  In this talk, I will address why I devoted myself in online game research in the past few years.  I will present an overview of game research activities in my laboratory, which can be divided into four categories: networking, security, user behavior, and system design.  I hope through this talk I can share you how fun it is in doing game research!

【発表者略歴】
Dr. Chun-Yang Chen (also known as Kuan-Ta Chen) received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University in 1998 and 2000, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 2006. Since then he joined the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica as an assistant research fellow. 
His research interests include Internet measurement, Internet QoS, network security, and online gaming. Much of his recent work focus on the analysis and design of networked multimedia systems, including traffic characterization, transport protocols, quality of service, human factors, and security issues. He is a member of ACM and IEEE.
