- 1. 助成執行概要とその効果
- I have been making progress in adding information to the Ritsumeikan University Ukiyo-e database, identifying artist's signatures, unnamed actors, play titles and dates. The ATOK software has helped me with the transcription of the texts that appear on the prints. The screen and wireless mouse enable me to simultaneously refer to a number of databases when I am researching a print.

- This equipment allows me to work in a more efficient and comfortable way. I am trying to develop accurate digital metadata for the kabuki-e and I am entering this information on the Ritsumeikan University Ukiyo-e database. Ultimately, this data will support my research into late-Edo period yakusha-e.
