Research activities: Overview and implications: "Virtual Yamahoko Parade" is one of our major research topics of Digital Museum Project. This year, based on previous CG contents, we are trying to build a virtual experiencing system with real-time interactive control. Many researches, such as crowd simulation, vibration system, interface development, and CG animation, need to be carried out to achieve our goal. The research on virtual yamahoko parade is an important topic of Digital Museum Project an DH-JAC. This program will help us to improve our current research as well as to introduce our research overseas. The results will be presented at domestic and international conferences in this and next physical year.

Progress and effects in your overall research plan and objectives: I used the grant to buy a portable hard drive to store and backup Virtual Yamahoko Parade CG data. This year we improved the CG and created new models and animations. New 3ds max models, Cal3D avatar models, VRML CG models, recorded sound files, acceleration data, GPS data, and Vizard codes were created.
