International ARC Seminars held in May & upcoming schedule

With the start of the Spring Term, the Art Research Center (ARC) recently held two International ARC Seminars with four guest speakers from various fields in digital humanities research.

While the International ARC Seminars had taken place in the ARC building in the past, due to the coronavirus impact, they were launched as Webinars for the first time in May.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to all the guest speakers as well as participants in the International ARC Seminars.

Program of the 68th International ARC Seminar (Webinar) on Wednesday, May 13

1. "A Trial to Transfer the Databases of the Art Research Center Collections into Open Data (アート・リサーチセンター所蔵資料データベースのオープンデータ化への取り組み)" (in Japanese)

2. "Finding the Identical Ukiyo-e Prints across Multiple Digital Collections in Different Languages (複数言語からなるデジタルコレクションからの同一浮世絵作品の同定手法)" (in English)

1. "近世後期京都俳壇における花供養会の位置 -- 芭蕉顕彰俳諧をめぐって (The Position of Hanakuyo-Kei in the Kyoto-Haidan through the 18th and 19th Centuries -- Concerning Basho-Kensho Haikai)" (in Japanese)
