We will hold a workshop discussing future developments to virtual city research and the possibilities of future joint research. Virtual city research focuses on Norwich and Kyoto as two of the world’s representative historical cities, and is centered on the Centre for Japanese Studies of East Anglia University in Great Britain, the Faculty of Environmental Studies and the Ritsumeikan University Art Research Center.

The workshop will begin in Norwich, but Ritsumeikan University will also simultaneously inaugurate the workshop by using Video Conference technology to participate in the first session.
