Cheap Houses For Sale

We found cheap houses for sale all over the country. My partner Ana and I were on a seven-week drive around the country. It was a holiday, but we looked over houses also, and ordered one in an excellent little town in the mountains of western Montana. It cost $17,500, and after $2000 to repair it up, we lived there for many months before trying to sell it for $28,000.
We liked Anaconda. Where else would you fly fish, visit a three-dollar movie in a old art-deco theatre (the 5th most beautiful in the united kingdom, based on the Smithsonian), fall some nickles in a slot machine, eat at a fine restaurant, stop by the bar for a money beer, and buy a house for under $30,000 - all within a four block area! There are great schools and churches, a library with quick websites, and wildlife (including bears) a hundred or so yards from downtown.

Why Exist Inexpensive Properties On The Market?

There are cheap houses in Anaconda, and nearby Butte since there aren't many good jobs. I quickly found careers in Anaconda - although not great people. This explains why people left the region in the 80's, after the mines and smelters shut.

Thirteen percent of the "housing units" in Anaconda are vacant, according to the 2,000 U.S. census. It's driven down your home prices considerably. Because it still has all the simple ammenities, is cleaner now, and is slowly recovering, it's a fantastic place to retire to or to maneuver to when you have an internet or other non-location-based business. The Basics about Secure Auto Finance [http://quegrande.org/wiki/index.php?title=JobyEaston721 JobyEaston721 - Qugepedia] .

An undesirable regional economy is the reason cheap houses can be bought by you in many parts of the nation. These are villages that have seen troubled situations, but are usually recovering, sometimes with reasons. Anaconda, as an example, now has, along with it is a resort, lovely mountain scenery and a Jack Nicholas greens. Homes cost four times as much an hour in any way, and those costs are bound to attain Anaconda ultimately.

Inexpensive Houses You may not Wish To Buy

You will find towns such as the one in South Dakota day where we stopped for lunch one. A bulletin board had adverts for inexpensive homes for sale by desperate people trying never to function as last to leave town. There is an image of a lovely old five-bedroom farmhouse for $11,000. As we ate, we looked up the empty street and realized that all the houses were boarded-up. This was a dying village, with nothing to greatly help revive it. A free house would not be considered a sufficient reason to go here.

Low priced House For Sale - Our Standards

There are many great neighborhoods, from Florida to Oregon, where there are cheap houses available. After our Montana experience, we started a website about them. What does an area need to be able to make our list? The criteria are very subjective, but include at least the following:

1. Population of 4,000 to 80,000.

2. Decent library.

3. Great food store.

4. Cinema.

5. At the very least six houses available under $50,000.

6. The city has a good "feel" to it.

After much research, we found a number of our criteria that were met by towns, including some with homes for under $30,000. There really are great villages out there where you could find low priced homes for sale.Cakes Brides of North Texas [http://www.architecturebois.fr/wikibois/index.php?title=MiloNiles630 via] .
