“Digital Humanities Center for Japanese Arts and Cultures,” Ritsumeikan University provide its young researchers with focused supports, who include Center’s Senior Researchers and Researchers, as well as other researchers whom the Center’s Steering Committee exceptionally admits as such.
A case in point is two kinds of grants described as follows.
The grant is to subsidize costs and fees directly related to young researchers’ research, including that for research materials such as books, research trips and participation in academic meetings within Japan. The Center’s Steering Committee reviews each application and decides whether or not a grant is awarded, and, if so, how much.
The grant covers costs and fees that young researchers need to carry out research project abroad and/or to present research outcomes. The grant is to cover costs and fees which involve in travel abroad, accommodations, participation in academic meetings, reviewing and editing of your research outcomes, and printing out of your paper. The Center’s Steering Committee reviews each application and decides whether or not a grant is awarded, and, if so, how much.
