Lecturer: Doyin Aguoru
Mrs. Aguoru is a lecturer of OLABISI ONABANJO UNIVERSITY AGO-IWOYE, NIGERIA.
Rearching theme:
Theatre and National Identity; a Comparative Analysis of Selected Nigerian and Japanese Works
This presentation will be given in English. She will show some films of Nigerian performing arts.

Presented by JCDH of GCOE Program
Her research is an attempt to evolve taxonomy for comparative dramatic studies in from two continents namely: Africa and Asia. It explores specifically two national dramatic traditions, Nigerian and Japanese. The aim of her study is to discover strategies that will encourage the growth and preservation of both dramatic cultures.
