Usana was the first multilevel marketing company I joined back in 2002 (I'm not affiliate with the company now. I was brought in to the company reading a book by Robert Allen called Multiple Streams of greenbacks.

I went into the Usana opportunity feeling more excited about the opportunity of financial freedom and residual income than I had have you been in my life. I thought that I had been entering a surefire path to prosperity.

Well, I only managed to get about 3 months in Usana and then quit in bitter frustration. I poured my heart into the business for your time period, trying every single thing my upline told me to complete to develop the company.

I spent several hundred bucks buying leads off the internet. I made a big listing of everyone I knew and pitched the biz opp to a lot of of these. I even passed out my company cards to employees at junk food restaurants. That is when bad I wanted to achieve success. But man, these experiences were very painful and did not product any results.

Herein lies my main criticism of Usana-- the marketing training I received was very, limited and outdated. I was told to do stuff that clearly weren't working for my upline either. I left the organization totally baffled as to how anyone could find success taking such actions.

Aside from the poor marketing training, I possibly could never get all that looking forward to the Usana product line featuring its nutritional supplements as well as other skin care products. Having a background in alternative health, I had been concerned the company uses some binding agents and cheap fillers in certain of their nutritional products, yet you pay premium prices.

This is a major problem for health and wellness the likes of Usana. Many of them have items that are clearly overpriced for the quality one receives. It is difficult to achieve a company if you can't get 100% behind the merchandise. That was my experience with Usana.

I do believe Usana has an excellent compensation plan using the binary model. It is among the very best in the industry, but when you've got a hard time getting new distributors, it does not really matter. I believe it is true that the older, more established companies like Usana are not as easy to create serious profit.

The Usana community and mission was something I had been happy to take part in. I could tell the organization is usually filled with good people who really have confidence in the positive impact the organization is making. This was not enough, however, to help keep me in the company.

7 years later I have many userful stuff here about building a home business. I think if you are going to get it done and you want big results, you have to learn attraction marketing and the way to search on the internet. That is what I actually do now and i'm generating results which i couldn't ever touch with the marketing strategies I had been shown by my Usana upline.

In summary, if you are interested in Usana, just make sure that you're very, very clear about the level of marketing training you will be getting from your upline. Also ensure that you are actually knowledgeable about the quality of these products and that you feel their benefit firsthand.

Lots of people do find massive success in Usana, however the vast majority make under $10,000 in the opportunity. 95% of your success boils down to marketing.
